A smoke stopper can help avoid damage when powering on a mini quad drone for the first time. If there is a defective part or a short circuit, the smoke stopper can limit the current flow and prevent the “magic smoke”. It protects your electronic components from current surges and gives you a chance to troubleshoot failures without needing to replace burnt-out parts.
- The LED indicator turns solid green in a normal situation.
